lobby
The medium-sized lobby is very charming with warm dark colours blending well with the traditional furniture.
exterior
A traditional building which over the years has retained its grandeur.
restaurant
The main hotel restaurant is the famous Bouillabaisse seafood restaurant where breakfast is also served. It is a dazzlingly light and elegant room with huge stained glass windows and a patterned tiled floor. Another Zurich institution is the Hummer Bar (Lobster bar) which of course also serves seafood specialities but has a more intimate atmosphere.
rooms
Rooms vary in size from small to large. They are all individually designed and blend both traditional and modern styles. However, some rooms could benefit from being redecorated. The bathrooms are old fashioned, but in good condition.
location
This hotel has a prime location as it is situated on the world famous Bahnhofstrasse, home to most of Zurich's banks and prestigious jewellers.
