location
The Zurich-Enge Train Station is just a 4-minute walk away and provides direct transport to the airport. The bus station Hurlimannplatz (line 66) is 200 metres from the hotel.
restaurant
Breakfast is served in the library. The wine bar serves a small food range, as well as drinks, wine from Zurich and of course the legendary Hurlimann beer all day long (until 23:30.). Culinary delights are provided in the form of SWaPPa's (Swiss tapas), wine from Zurich and the traditional Hurlimann beer. Swappas are the Swiss interpretation of the famous Spanish tapas that can be enjoyed as a snack, over a glass of wine, or to make up a delicious meal. We also serve cheese specialities from the Zurich region.
exterior
The buildings of the old Hurlimann Brewery take on a new role following their conversion into the B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa Hurlimann Areal Zurich. However, the industrial character of the buildings has been carefully preserved to illustrate the history of Zurich's legendary brewing era.
lobby
The library is the centrepiece of the hotel. With over 33,000 books, it is an inviting place to read, lose yourself in a good book, experience history at first hand and meet new people. With its tall arched windows and eleven-metre high ceiling, the library is reminiscent of a cathedral. The inventory from an antiquarian bookshop has now found a new home in the hotel library. The books are not merely decorative objects, but can also be borrowed by guests during their stay in the hotel. The library is not only a place to read ? it is a space where you can work, talk business or meet a date. This is where you will come to relax, chat, surf, socialise, flirt and network.
general
Once a brewery, now a boutique hotel. "Gruezi" and welcome to the unique spaces of a former brewery. Since March 2012 the B2 Boutique Hotel promises a hotel stay with a (hi)story. But there is no need to worry ? although the walls are ancient and full of history, our outlook is very contemporary. The guests overnight where beer was brewed for over 130 years. Thermal Bath & Spa Zurich is connected to the hotel. Hotel guests enjoy special conditions and direct access. The luxurious Thermal Bath & Spa Zurich opened in December 2010. It is run by Aqua-Spa-Resorts AG. Spread over 3,300 square metres, this temple of relaxation is nestled in the former barrel filling area of the Hurlimann Brewery. The spa is one of a kind thanks to its unique architecture and an inimitable structure that includes the old barrel vaults of the former brewery. Simple brick walls lend the spa an atmosphere reminiscent of a monastery. Huge metal tanks in the vaulted cellars have been replaced by basins made of larch wood, a reminder of the large beer barrels used in the brewery. The peaceful atmosphere is very relaxing and restorative. The space is divided into two areas: the thermal bath, which is also open to families, and the spa zone, which is for adults only. Visitors must bear a bathing costume in the thermal bath and spa. We would like to let you know that Tuesday is ladies day in the spa. Special conditions for hotel guests.

Thermal bath: The huge wooden baths are located deep inside the mountain below vaults that are a hundred years old. The water comes from the nearby Aqui mineral spring and is transported to the Hurlimann Areal. The thermal baths have massage nozzles, massage seats, lounger benches with massage jets, whirlpools and a relaxation area with a shallow water zone. Further highlights include the emerald bath, a meditation pool with underwater music, a steam room and a Kneipp zone. Unlike other thermal baths, the Thermal Bath & Spa Zurich is structured both horizontally and vertically. The bathing experience takes visitors from the vaults inside the mountain to the light of the outdoor roof pool. Spa: The spa is located in the brewery's old malt storehouse. Visitors follow an Irish-Roman bathing ritual with optional treatments. The secret of the Irish-Roman spa ritual lies in the variety of the ten different procedures, during which the body is slowly heated, cleansed, relaxed and then cooled down again. The process takes around two hours.
