We have amazing hiking right from your doorstep, canoe rentals, fishing rentals, snow shoe rentals, cross country ski rentals, a complimentary ski shuttle to the Lake Lousie Ski Hill and an out door hot tub and fire pit. lobbyThe lobby is of medium size and opens into quiet reading and sitting rooms and a games room. The lounge is enhanced by an oak bar salvaged from an 1890's Yukon saloon.
exteriorBuilt of hand-hewn timber.The Main Lodge is surrounded by 24 cabins around the lake. The Lodge was originally built by the Canadian Pacific Railway. From upper or lower large verandahs, the visions nature presents are as fresh and breath-taking as ever. As in the past, Emerald Lake proudly welcomes those in search of the extraordinary.
restaurantIn the dining room, lounge and bar you can sample Rocky Mountain Cuisine, the roots of which go back to both the lavish Victorian cooking from the CPR rail cars and the hearty meats prepared by Swiss and Austrian mountain guides. All dishes are artfully presented and professionally served. Our wine list is extensive and features many award-winning Canadian wines from central British Columbia, and includes a large selection of hard to find vintners' reserve wines. Cilantro on the Lake features a lighter Californian Cuisine.

locationEmerald Lake Lodge is located in Yoho National Park, on Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake Lodge and Conference Centre is located approximately 200 km (125 miles) from Calgary, Alberta. To reach the lodge from Calgary, leave via 16th Avenue heading west. This route turns into the Trans Canada Highway #1 - which you follow directly to Field, British Columbia. Two km (1 mile) past the town of Field you will approach a turn-off clearly marked for Emerald Lake. The lodge is located 8 km (5 miles) down this road. Please park your vehicle in the overnight parking lot where a shuttle bus will be sent to drive you and your party to the Main Lodge.
