The rooms are generally very large and kept in good condition, with traditional furnishings. Some have been recently renovated.

The hotel is located in the heart of Vienna on the famous Ringstrasse on the Schotten ring, virtually opposite the Vienna Stock Exchange. It is within easy walking distance of St Stephen's Cathedral and the main shopping area, the Kartner Straase and the Graben. The nearest underground station is Schottentor.
