This is a small property, a run family business one of the many that have been recently opening in Venice. They are addressed to a clientele that prefers to be in a quiet and homely environment and be spoiled by the friendly family members. The hotel organizes, on request, a few hours boat trip around the lagoon, for a minimum number of two people to a maximum of six. MS 01/06
lobby
The lobby is small with a small seating area in front of the hotel bar.
exterior
The building is dated back to the sixteenth century and was originally home of a captain of the Serenissima republic, the title under which Venice was so well known. This is a typical Venetian building in keeping with the surroundings.
restaurant
There is no restaurant but only a small breakfast room which supports well the needs of the structure. On request breakfast is also served in the room.
rooms
The recently renovated rooms vary in size and are furnished in a simple but elegant traditional style. They are equipped with all the modern facilities and are, along with the bathrooms, in good condition.
location
The hotel is located in a quiet street next to the railway station and only few minutes walk from the Jewish ghetto. The area is lively with many shops, bars and restaurants and it is only 5 to 10 minutes away, by boat, from Rialto Bridge.
