The hotel is located in a privileged position being only a stone throw from San Mark's square and being at the same time in a kind of secluded location away from the crowds and the noise. CQ 09/10
lobby
The lobby is quite luminous thank to the big windows overlooking the Campo San Zaccaria. The marbled floors contribute to make the ambiance elegant. And the plants and flowers placed all around makes it welcoming to the guests.
exterior
This is a 3-storey building in keeping with its surroundings, it has a terrace overlooking the sunny Campo San Zaccaria and the imposing facade of the church. Flowers are positioned on the balcony to make the whole facade very pretty.
restaurant
On the ground floor there is a nice breakfast room where a rich buffet is served. This hotel'guests have got an advantage on the possibility to have breakfast also at the restaurant of the sister hotel, located just next door and facing the stunning San Mark's Basin. The food selection is the same but the view is the bonus.
rooms
The rooms are decorated in venetian style. The use of precious fabrics and beautiful damask on the walls makes the whole environment quite luxurious. Some of the rooms boost a stunning view over the San Zaccaria Church and some others offer a private terrace where it is possible to enjoy romantic candle lit dinners in the summer time. The bathrooms have been recently renovated along with the rooms and appear to be in very good condition. Rooms and bathrooms are equipped with all the modern comforts.
location
This lovely hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, in the sunny Campo San Zaccaria, only few minutes walk to San Mark's Square. The property overlooks the facade of the beautiful San Zaccaria Church, considered a masterpiece of the Renaissance period. Only one minute walk away there is the closest public boat stop called San Zaccaria, where the majority of the boat lines stop.
