This beautiful Locanda is positioned in the historical centre of Venice , only 150 metres from San Marco Square, overlooking a canal with a splendid view onto the famous Bridge of Sighs. The hotel entrance is located in the small Calle del Remedio, a small little street just off the main tourist route to San Marco Square and to all the hustle and bustle of the heart of the city. The closest waterbus stop is San Zaccaria, just three minutes walking distance to the hotel. The Locanda faces a romantic courtyard with an ancient well. On the other side of the courtyard there is access to the hotel Colombina whose main entrance is along Calle del Remedio. The Locanda is managed by the hotel Colombina and check-in/out is done at that hotel.
rooms
They vary in size and are elegantly furnished in Venetian style and equipped with all the modern comforts. The standard of the rooms is high with much attention paid to even the smallest detail. The marble bathrooms are in excellent condition with jacuzzi tub or hydro-massage shower.
restaurant
Although no restaurant is available, there is a beautiful and luminous breakfast room and a bar on the first floor. Typical Venetian salone with Murano glass and chandeliers, dark wooden floor, refined fabrics, and a few paintings on the walls.

Typical Venetian palace recently restored to its former glory.
lobby
It is small but well presented and welcoming. It is furnished and decorated in Venetian style with antiques and Murano glass to enrich the typical atmosphere. A staircase starts from the lobby and leads to the first floor.
general
This is a beautiful property, in an excellent location, having been renovated, which takes advantage of the superior facilities of the hotel Colombina. Check in/out has to be done at the sister hotel. (CQ 02/07)
