generalThis hotel offers the combined advantage of being in a prime location, but in a quiet position. This is a friendly and professional family-run hotel. The hotel is made of 2 buildings, with the same characteristics, one close to each other. (CQ 05/08)
lobbyThe lobby is large in size with a nice marbled floor. Sofas and armchairs are positioned all around the hall which is adorned by 2 original Greek columns and a well dating back to the 18th century.
exteriorThe 2-storey palace, once residence of one of the most famous Venetian families, has been totally renovated, preserving its original architecture. The elegant facade, with its precious quadrifora, is painted light pink with lanterns at both sides of the entrance, which is accessible by a small private bridge.
restaurantThe hotel has no restaurant. However, the breakfast room and bar are located on the first floor in a charming saloon with plenty of natural light and beautiful chandeliers dating back to the 18th century.
roomsMedium to large in size with bathrooms in excellent condition, the rooms are equipped with all modern facilities such as mini-bar, satellite television, air conditioning, safe, and radio. The rooms are all traditional in style with a soft, carpeted floor. They are luxuriant, tastefully decorated with precious damask on the walls and beautiful fabrics to adorn the windows and the beds.
locationThe hotel overlooks a small canal and is just a few minutes' walking distance from St. Mark's Square. The nearest boat station is San Zaccaria.
