This is a deluxe hotel with a lot of character, blending beautifully modern conveniences with the traditional and historic Convict era architecture. Great views of Sydney can be enjoyed from many upgraded rooms (see harbour view display) and the Executive Club Lounge which is one of the best in Sydney. NH1210
lobby
The hotel has a medium sized lobby with a separate group entrance. It has an old world character which is in keeping with historical nature of the hotel. The reception area is located in one corner, with the Cortile, a three tiered sandstone and marble courtyard as the hotel's central meeting place - serving drinks, afternoon teas etc. Cortile also features a restored lift which serves as a centrepiece.

This is a modern tower rising out of the majestic sandstone Historical Treasury Building, dating back to 1851, full of grace and charm of its era.
restaurant
The hotel's fine dining 30 something is on the 31st (top floor) with magnificent views of Sydney. On the first floor is Cafe Opera - a popular seafood buffet restaurant. The Cortile is a coffee shop on the ground level offering a fantastic meeting place.

Deluxe Eastern Harbour View Rooms are well appointed with modern conveniences. Each features window seats, chaise lounge, blackout/sheer blinds and adjustable lighting with high speed internet access.
