lobby
The hotel lobby were the hotel reception desk is located with all areas of the hotel leading from here. The lobby is bright with a marble floor and has been decorated tastefully to enhance the original futures in the building to represent a traditional town house feels as does all the public areas.
exterior
The exterior of the hotel is mid Victorian in design and still has the original frontage with the walls of the entrance covered in original 18th century ceramic tiles. The present hotel was built in 1864 there has been a hostelry on this site since the early 16th century.
restaurant
The hotel diner and bar has a very high reputation for offering good and friendly hospitality to residents and locals. Good fresh food is offered through out the day and the bar serves an excellent range of beverages and drinks. Times dinner is uniquely decorated with its famous wedding cake design ceiling.
rooms
All the hotel bedrooms are well decorated and are located on the first and second floors of the hotel. The bedrooms comprise of a mix of double, single, twin, family rooms. All bedrooms contain colour TV, tea/ coffee making facilities and all beds are new contract beds to ensure a well and comfortable nights sleep. All bedrooms are en-suite with fully tiled floors and walls of which many have both bath and shower facilities.
location
The Hotel is located in the heart of the second town of Stoke on Trent that is Longton. Longton has easy access to all the main motorways including the M1 M6 A1 and A 50. East Midlands, Birmingham, and Manchester airports are all within 60 minutes of the Hotel. The hotel is situated on the main A50/ A511 in the centre of the town. All of the most famous potteries are within walking distance of the hotel including Churchill's, wedge woods, Port Merion and many more. Alton towers, water world and Drayton manor are all within a short drive of the Hotel.
