general
A very well maintained hotel, with an excellent location. For those wanting to stay close to the city centre, yet preferring more peaceful surroundings, this hotel is perfect. (LC 06/05)
lobby
The reception is medium in size and there are two small seating areas. The decor is modern and has a business like ambience.
exterior
It is a very attractive, traditional building surrounded by trees. It is a modern low rise brick building.
restaurant
The restaurant is linked to the lobby on the ground floor, it is housed in the older part of the building. The decor has been beautifully renovated in order to retain the original traditional style. A splendid place to dine.
rooms
Rooms are all of a similar design and are of medium size. There are two main colours used; deep red or dark blue combined with gold. The furnishings are a mixture of simple modern wood and traditional Swedish made curtains. Rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.
location
The hotel is situated in a quiet location, near to the waterfront and close to the Vasa museum and the Royal Palace. The surroundings are green and very picturesque and nice to explore by foot. The city centre is only a few minutes drive.
