The hotel is located a few kilometres from St. Catherines monastery, set back from the main road.

The medium sized chalet style rooms have stone flooring and whitewashed walls. Furniture is of a reasonable standard, as is the decoration. The new area comprises of six new accommodation wings which are adequately equipped and furnished.

The original restaurant is situated in a circular stone building and is traditionally furnished in wood. Cuisine is of a very good standard.

The hotel consists of an old traditional and a new modern area. The old traditional area comprises of a stone built reception, a circular restaurant and several bedrooms 'chalets'.

The lobby has recently increased in size and offers several comfortable seating areas. It has marble flooring and whitewashed walls.
