exteriorThe buildings making up the lodge are uniquely constructed combining both tent and plaster so as to blend in as much as possible with the desert location and surroundings.
restaurantDinners here are given an unforgettable experience. The buffet is presented outside on the terrace under the stars with a magnificent view of the floodlit waterhole, where game come to drink. The cuisine consists of soups, meats, vegetables, stirfry and, to finish, delicious desserts. Breakfast is also quite an affair and guests can choose to either enjoy a continental or a full English breakfast. For lunch, you can choose from the a la carte menu or the buffet.
roomsThe lodge has 51 en-suite rooms and 3 family units on the eastern side. Each of the en-suite rooms sleeps two in adjoining three-quarter beds. The lights are solar-powered at this Namibia accommodation and the en-suites have showers instead of baths.
locationThe lodge is situated on a 40,000 hectare private reserve in Sossusvlei. It is directly adjacent to the Sesriem gate of the Namib Naukluft Park that is sanctuary to the highest dunes in the oldest desert, the Namib Desert.
