Independent Report

general
A good product offering a wealth of facilities for a pleasant and varied stay. WS1208
lobby
The very large sized lobby has been refurbished and is very impressive. With reception to the left and the largest casino in the Balkans to the right, the lobby is bright and luxurious. There is a very large area for seating in the centre of the lobby and also a small bar at the rear. The lobby is decorated in beige colours and contains marble walls and floors.
exterior
This enormous hotel is modern in appearance and dominates the local skyline. It features pale concrete and dark windows and is the largest hotel on the Balkan Peninsula.
restaurant
The restaurant is situated on the 1st floor and also doubles as a ballroom. The room is light, bright and spacious and has a traditional and grand feel to it.
rooms
The rooms are medium in size and are of good quality. The bathrooms are tiled in marble and are in very good condition. The rooms are typical of the level of quality one would expect from a hotel of this standard.
location
The hotel is situated in central Sofia within walking distance from the main rail station. Tram and bus links with the rest of the city are excellent and the taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.
