Truly a gem of a hotel if one like staying in a piece of preserved history. Rooms and suites are scattered around the 6 hectare compound in its several wings. There are many corners to explore on its sprawling grounds but a well kept secret is to find the Mayfair Pool - an oasis within an oasis. sg 07/07
lobby
The lobby is reminiscent of the days of old with many preserved touches of the colonial past. Medium in size, there are ample seats available. Daily polished brass emblems and stair rails still adorn the common areas.
exterior
The exterior of the hotel is Tudor which is highly unusual in Singapore. The hotel started off as the Teutonia Club in 1900 and became the Goodwood Park Hotel in 1929. The facade is still characterised by a distinctive tower. The white building is flanked by Traveller Palm trees. Very historical in character.
restaurant
Gordon Grill serves fine Continental specialties. Coffee Lounge offers oriental and western fare, local high tea as well as Taiwan porridge. L'Espresso famed for its speciality coffees and teas also boasts a delightful set lunch and dinner. Min Jiang offers Chinese cuisine and dim sum.

The classic elegant Deluxe rooms are located in the main building, rooms are at 44 square meters, has off white colors walls and classical style furniture. It retains an air of elegance in this historical property yet with a modern touch. The rooms are equipped with in-room safe, coffee and tea making facilities, bathrobe and bedroom slippers. Toilet is spacious and well maintain.

Conveniently located in Scotts Road and within easy walk distance to Orchard Road. This historical hotel sits on large piece of land with York Hotel. It is near the Duty Free Shop. It shares its land with York Hotel.
