Due to its location and pricing, it is an experience in itself to stay in one of these refurbished shophouses. Chinatown is about 10 minutes walk away and there is plenty of nightlife and pubs available locally.

As can be expected in a historical boutique hotel, the lobby is small but cosy with European style furnishing.
exterior
The hotel occupies former shophouses built before the Second World War in typical Chinese style design but immaculately restored to its former splendour. The surroundings are quaint and served by a busy narrow street lined with upmarket offices and pubs.
restaurant
The hote offers a deluxe French restaurant, reputed to be one the best in Singapore.
rooms
The rooms are very well appointed with pastel coloured walls and European themed furnishing. Some rooms are irregularly shaped due to the original floor plan.
location
Located near Chinatown and the central business district, the hotel sits amongst pre-war (World War Two) double storey shophouses.
