The hotel is located on Scotts road and within walking distance to Orchard Road, a prime shopping and entertainment centre. Both the famous Newton Hawker Food Court and the Newton MRT station are very close.

Although the furniture in the medium sized rooms is fairly basic, it has been kept well and is still in good condition.

Scoffs Cafe (halal) has a variety of Local, Asian, and Western fares and is especially noted for its Nasi Padang (Indonesian Cuisine) that is prepared by its Chefs from Padang - Sumatra. Popular Nonya High-Tea is served on weekends (Sat/Sun) from 12.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. The Sun Hsui Hang Restaurant has a good reputation for its Cantonese cuisine and delicious Tim-Sum prepared by chefs from HongKong.
