The lion hotel is situated just outside Shrewsbury town centre and is easily accessible via the nearby road networks from the south, east, north and west.

The hotel offers a wide variety of cuisine in a relaxed setting.

This is a very traditional hotel, the building dating back as far as 1618. Located on the street, the brick building has a small porch at the entrance with Golden Lion statue, (the symbol of the hotel) above the entrance.
