The hotel is located in Shimla, the gateway to the majestic Himalayas. With fabulous views across the valley, the property is a perfect base from which to explore the spectacular mountain scenery, cedar forests and ancient monasteries. The airport is 45 minutes away and the railway station is 10 minutes away.

Many rooms have spectacular views across the mountains. Rooms are decorated classically, with polished wood, brass and rich, subtle fabrics in a style which recalls the late 19th century, yet feature every modern comfort.

The hotel has a restaurant offering a selection of European and Asian dishes. The lobby lounge in the soaring five-storey galleried atrium also has a bar. There is also an outdoor garden cafe serving snacks during the day.
