The hotel is conveniently situated within a few minutes' walk of Sheffield City Centre and overlooks the Rover Don. It is very easily accessed from Junction 33 of the M1 and a five minute walk to Sheffield train station and the Supertram network.

Opening in the third quarter of 2011, this will be a good choice for the leisure traveller looking for central, modern and well priced accommodation. Added benefits include on site parking and WiFi access in all public areas. (GW 02/2011)

The lobby is spacious and open plan with the bar and restaurant area leading off the check in desks. Decor is minimalist and modern.
exterior
This is a 7 floor modern purpose build with prominent floor to ceiling glass windows occupying every room.
restaurant
The complimentary Express Start hot breakfast is served in the Restaurant but no other full service dining facilities are available (in keeping with this brand). Light bites and full bar service are available though.
rooms
In the all new IHG modern rebranded design, the 161 well appointed rooms are very well sized, comfortable and positioned at the high end of the 3 star bracket. The rooms all contain Air Conditioning, invigorating Power Shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, work desk with direct dial phone and LCD TV with freeview channels.
