Independent Report
generalSetubal is a busy industrial centre, at the mouth of the river Sado and the town produces salt. Inspite of its industrialisation, there is much to see of interest. The church of Christ is a must. It is of late manueline architecture, there is also a museum in the church.

The fortress gives a commanding view across the sea and the surrounding countryside of the Serra da Arrabida, a mountain protecting the bay of Setubal and the mouth of the river Sado.
