Pacific Northwest's only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The Olympic is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a member of Historic Hotels of America. Built on what was originally the site of the first campus of the University of Washington.(08/08-kc)
lobby
Elegant and luxurious. Original oak paneled walls, crystal chandeliers and Signature Palladian windows. Custom carpeting was installed in the main lobby and mezzanine. Lobby furnishings were also reupholstered while the marble and oak finishes received deep polishing. In addition, custom lobby lighting was installed to better showcase the intricate architectural details of the lobby.

The building is done in the style of the Italian Renaissance and graciously restored.

The hotel has 2 full service restaurants. The first one featuring seasonal Northwest cuisine and wines, serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The second one is a Seattle's pre-eminent oyster bar and seafood restaurant, serves lunch and dinner. In addition, in-room dinning is available 24 hours.

The Deluxe Executive Suites have separate sleeping and living areas. They are furnished with a loveseat and plush armchair, one king or two twin beds, two 27-inch television sets and a spacious bathroom with an adjacent dressing area. Other amenities include alarm clock radio with CD player, hair dryer, in room safe, two or multi line telephone, terry bathrobes.
