A truly once in a lifetime experience and only available during winter! Outside the Igloo, crystal clear skies give you the opportunity to experience the magical northern lights and beautiful star studded skyline. Not many people are lucky to experience such a stay and see such sights!

Built entirely out of snow, the 10 snow igloos are the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience. The temperature inside a snow igloo always stays between -3 C and -6 C. Besides warm (rated extreme temperature is -32 C) down sleeping bag, we provide you woolen socks and hood, so that you will never feel cold. The snow igloos are for 1-3 persons.

Kakslauttanen Snow Igloos are located in the Saariselka fell area amidst beautiful Lapland scenery in the vicinity of Urho Kekkonen National Park. The hotel has excellent connections and is easily accessible from the nearby Highway 4. Ivalo Airport is just 35 Kilometers away and scheduled buses stop right outside the hotel.
