The Duke of Marlborough is a landmark property, a great waterfront location in one of New Zealands earliest settlements - Russell. There is an abundance of activity in the surrounding area from water based activities to the historic charm of this early settlement. Central location and good value for money. SE0908

A historic 1930's building in white wooden weatherboard and striking red roof. Situated on the waterfront and in the centre of the town the "Duke" is a focal point of the area.

The Restaurant offers fantastic all weather outdoor dining on the waterfront. All day Bistro casual dining. Cuisine is predominantly local with seafood featuring heavily.

There are three room types within the hotel. Superior rooms overlook the town. Bedding configuration is queen bed or queen plus single. All rooms have satellite TV, complimentary tea/ coffee facilities, and refrigerator, and direct dial phones. Rooms are compact due to historic nature of the building.

On the waters edge in the historic township of Russell. A minute walk to shops, ferry and water based activities.
