exteriorDomus Australia is the new boutique guest house in central Rome, offering a calm and welcoming refuge. The Domus was established by the Catholic Church in Australia, to provide a place for travelers to Rome to be able to stay while visiting the Eternal City. Home to its own Roman ruins, the old Italian building complex of accommodation wings surrounding a central courtyard was completely restored in 2011 and offers beautiful and very comfortable facilities for any kind of travelers, leisure, business or pilgrimage.
restaurantThe hotel dining room opens onto the beautiful open-air courtyard (surrounded by a typical cloister). Both breakfast and dinner and drinks are available either in the dining room or in the courtyard where clients can admire well preserved ancient Roman ruins. Also available, for taking some drinks and casual meals, a beautiful rooftop bar area and a very large terrace. Great place to have a relax time. Rooftop Bar is open during the warmer months.
roomsOf a quite large size, each room has its own en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, television and telephone, Wi-Fi internet, iron and safe facilities and guests have access to a guest laundry. There is a lounge room for guests to enjoy as well the more informal rooftop bar.
locationProperty centrally located, inside the walls of the old city of Rome and it is five minutes walking from Porta Pia. Guests can easily reach by foot the famous area of the Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the beautiful gardens of the Villa Borghese. It is just few minutes walking from Main railway station, from tube stop and from major bus routes ? including those to the Vatican. It provides an ideal base from which to explore historic Rome and the Vatican.
