The hotel is equipped with meeting rooms, facilities for business travellers and a wide variety of sporting and recreational facilities. Wireless internet access is available through out the entire resort. Laptops can be rented at Front Desk. Complimentary children activities available and include snorkeling equipment, a sandy bottom swimming pool and volleyball. Free activities include: flipper, mask and snorkel rental, Kayaks and Polynesian dugout rental, Aqua aerobics classes, Petanque, Ping Pong, Beach Volleyball, Tennis courts. Payable to the hotel: scuba-diving, sailing, dolphin watch & shark feeding. The greatest feature of this 5 star resort is the 2000 square metre swimming pool with sand covered bottom. MP1008

The resort features two bars and two restaurants. Le Carre is located on the beach front and is offering gourmet style cuisine. It is open daily for lunch and dinner. La Plantation offers a large variety of specialties combining French Cuisine with the exotic flavours of Polynesian Cuisine.
rooms
The Overwater Polynesian-style Bungalows stretch out into the lagoon and are perched right over the water. Each bungalow has a large deck for whiling away the hours over the lagoon. The over-water bungalows are very spacious (approximately 56 square meters) with a separate dressing area, and have air-conditioning, safe, satellite television, mini-bar, tea/coffee amenities, and an iron and ironing board. While it is not possible to add an extra bed to these rooms, a convertible sofa can be used for a third adult or a child.
location
Ideally located on the seaside in the Punaauia region, the hotel is 15 kilometres from Papeete and 9 kilometres from Faa'a International Airport. Beautiful white sand beach in front of the hotel. Next door there is a shopping centre with a couple of cafes. The hotel provides a shuttle service - Le Meridien's Truck - twice a day, except on Sunday, between the hotel and downtown Papeete (payable to the hotel).
