As well as 224 rooms, the resort features two restaurants, a day spa, cocktail lounge, and a lagoon pool with swim up bar, plus lily ponds, streams and wildlife. Minutes from the village centre with its shops and galleries, Mercure Port Douglas Treetops Resort offers real tropical indulgence.

The lobby is medium size in a tropical, open style. There is a bar to one side, with a resident cockatoo (large parrot).

This is a low rise, tropical resort. It features a lily pond which weaves through the hotel grounds.
restaurant
TREE BAR AND GRILL - Stylish, surrounded by rainforest and located alongside the lagoon pool, the Tree Grill is open daily for magnificent tropical breakfast buffets, a la carte lunches and dinners. COCKATOO LOUNGE - Relax with a pre dinner drink after an entertaining day out. The ideal meeting place, Cockatoo Lounge offers a large selection of wines, local and imported beers and cocktails as well as a tasty light dining menu. TREE BAR - Located adjoining the Tree Grill and featuring a swim up pool bar, the Tree Bar is open daily from 10am - 10pm and offers a colourful selection of tropical cocktails to whet your appetite.

The rooms are large, well appointed and kept in good condition. They are also decorated in a tropical style and come with all modern facilities. Bathrooms are also in a good condition.
location
This property is just a 10 minute drive from the township of Port Douglas, which is full of small boutiques, shops and cafes. It is not far from the famous Sheraton Mirage, where the Marina also has many shops and cafes to browse around. Beach is accessible by a path, approx 800 metres away.Located in a small pocket of Melaleuca Rainforest an hour north of Cairns, Mercure Port Douglas Treetops is a short walk from Four Mile Beach, and close to the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef.
