locationLocated on the sheltered bay of Pointe aux Piments, on the northwest coast of Mauritius. The resort is approximately 1.5 hours from the international airport and 25 minutes from the capital city of Port Louis. As well, the lively village of Grand Baie, with many restaurants and bars, is close by.
roomsNirvana rooms are the newest addition to the property and are located in a separate building at the end of the resort. Rooms are elegantly furnished with luxurious bedding, 42" plasma television, marble bath and private balcony or terrace. These rooms also offer a private breakfast area (or complimentary in-room breakfast), private beach area, complimentary high-speed internet access in all rooms, daily tea/coffee/soft drinks and canapes served in a private lounge, as well as a complimentary fruit plate and bottle of wine upon arrival.
restaurantThe resort offers guests a choice of three restaurants, featuring international, Mauritian, seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. The main restaurant, located off the lobby, serves both a buffet breakfast and dinner with live cooking stations. The beach restaurant serves an a la carte lunch and dinner in a casual setting overlooking the Indian Ocean. The third restaurant, located towards the end of the resort, offers a Mediterrean-inspired menu for dinner complimented by a specially selected wine list.
exteriorTypical concrete blocks of rooms, accented by tropical gardens, are surrounded by the large pool and various restaurants and bars. The property is situated on a long stretch of beach with calm waters for swimming.
lobbyThe Asian-inspired lobby is large in size and decorated with dark furnishings and wood. At the lobby bar, there is plenty of room to sit and relax over a drink and the main restaurant is adjacent to the bar.
