Pineda de Mar is located in the middle of the "Costa del Maresme", in between the coastal mountain range and the sea. Distant some 55 km from Barcelona and some 45 km from Gerona, Pineda de Mar stands in the centre of a main communications network formed by the N-II road, C-32 Motorway and the railway, the latter with trains departing every 20 minutes. Pineda is a privileged place featuring a long and wide sandy beach of outstanding quality.
