locationSituated along the famous and lively beach of Batu Ferringhi. The hotel is just 18 kilometres from Georgetown and 31 kilometres from Penang Airport. It is in a prime location for access to shops, restaurants, and the night market. It is also a short drive from most of Penang's major attractions.
generalThis exciting resort is schedule to open last quarter of 2009. Is the first and only Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia and is also the first musically themed resort in Malaysia. The oversized free-form pool, sand islands, water slides and the cabanas will thrill both adults and the children. Facilities include a full service spa, a fully equipped gym, a specialized Lil' Rock Kids Club for children between 3-12 years old, Teens Club for teenagers aged 13-18 years old, Hard Rock merchandise stores.
The resort will appeal to both leisure / family travel, as well as to corporate meetings.

lobbyThe lobby houses the reception which is attached to a bar which serves juices and all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The pool and garden areas could be seen from the lobby.
exteriorThe building is longish in design, with a slight curve on one end. White wash exterior with a good blend of purple design on 1 side. Hotel has private drive-way that could bring the guests up to the entrance of the hotel.
restaurantThere are five and beverage establishments in the resort, which include a Hard Rock Cafe, an all-day dining restaurant featuring Asian and International cuisines known as Starz Diner, a pizzeria by the poolside, The Shack swim-up pool bar and the lounge which is part of the reception desk to get the party started straight away.
roomsRooms are spacious with contemporary feel and feature "Sleep Like a Rock" bedding with 300 thread count bed sheet. All rooms are equipped with iPod docking stations, interactive 32-inch LCD TV, CD music system, DVD players, tea and coffee making facilities, room safe and iron and ironing boards, bathrobe and bedroom slippers.
