locationThe hotel is centrally situated in the heart of the ancient city, in the "Courtyard Preservation Area" inside an old styled Hutong which means alley in the eastern part of Beijing. It is surrounded by historical buildings built in the Yuan Dynasty, where much of the buildings built duirng the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties are still preserved. It takes only a few minutes walk to the Old bell tower and Drum Tower and Shichahai lake.
roomsAll guestrooms are large in size, to reflect the authenticity of the historic period and keep the guests comfort in mind at the same time, they are elegantly decorated and well furnished in the Ming and Qing dynasty traditional Chinese style with modern facilities and well-appointed bathrooms. Each room has its own characteristics to reflect the uniqueness of the quadrangle infrastructure.
generalThis lovely property not only preserves traditional architecture, but also the quiet and artistic ancient way of life for guests to experience. lobbyThe lobby is small in size, located in the main courtyard. It is also decorated and furnished in a typical traditional Chinese style.
exteriorIt is built in a typical old Beijing architectural style with compound of quadrangle composing five courtyards. There are two stone lions sitting in front of the red door entrance, welcoming guests from all over the world.
restaurantThe restaurant connects to the main courtyard. Its decoration is corresponding to the hotel's traditional architectures which creates a traditional dinning environment. The restaurant not only provides western cuisine, but also typical mouthwatering Peking dishes, such as Peking duck, dumplings, noodles, lamp hotpots, etc. While having meals, guests could watch cultural performances such as the Beijing Opera and the acrobatics arranged by the hotel.
