Guestrooms are contemporary in style and decorated in chocolate brown and cream. All rooms are equipped with modern en suite facilities and flat-screen TVs. Upon entering the hotel the visitor is automatically is surrounded by custom made furnishings, all made to the designer?s vision - the carpet motif of black and white diamonds compels the visitor to follow the pathway to the reception area - the ceiling lights reminiscent of large camembert cheese of various sizes lights the way, and on the left a oversize white leather wall banquette is ready for the weary traveller to rest or have a refreshment from the bar. Sculpted wooden low tables are scattered at intervals in front of the banquette and some have natural tops or brightly coloured greens, yellows and blues. The bar is on the ground floor opening off the lobby area ? a custom built bar counter replicating travelling trunks of the 50s but with a funky twist in being white ? where large club chairs in black leather are coupled with square stools and low tables sculpted out of various woods such as oak, beech and elm ? these are in a variety of shapes and sizes and were specifically commissioned for the hotel.
