lobbyUpon entering number 46 avenue George V, one encounters an atmosphere of calm and serenity, a shower of crystals being the only gentle surrounding sound. The Carrara marble geometric floor starkly contrasts with the amazing diamond riviere surrounding the reception desk. The gently curved walls are covered with rich brown leather, embroidered with the hotel?s signature vegetation motif. Alcoves hiding behind golden sheer curtains, surrounded by oversized mirrors and overhanging amber chandeliers in Murano hand blown glass, accentuate the welcoming atmosphere. A fabulously eccentric oversized Louis XVth style day bed 9 meters in length and standing over 2 meters tall, takes centre stage in an unexpected play on futurism. Directly above, a display of black and white photographs portrays Barriere family members as well as celebrities from the cinema industry that have been guests.
exteriorThe Hotel Fouquet?s Barriere was raised from the ground as the natural extension of an already mythical establishment, thereby fulfilling a family dream.
