Within 50 metres of the sea and within 1km to the shopping area of this famous New Zealand resort town. The hotel is at the quieter end of the town.

The brand new deluxe wing opened in late 2006. They feature 1 king or 2 queen beds. Each have their own balcony. These rooms are a good four star standard and have air-conditioning, plasma TV and Cd players. Other room facilities include TV, mini-bar, radio and iron/ironing board.

There is two restaurants the main hotel restaurant used for breakfasts and buffet, and also a Garden restaurant for lighter a'la carte meals.

A low level building renovated in 2002, The deluxe wing was built in 2006 and created in a resort style complex.
