locationThe hotel is situated out of town location, just 5 minutes drive from Nyaung U Airport, in a garden setting on the Bagan plain.
roomsRooms are medium sized, with polished wood floors and simple but tasteful decoration. Wood and rattan furnishings and fittings in the local style. Adequate smart bathrooms, satellite T.V., minibar, IDD telephone. Rooms are cooled by aircon (remote control). The spacious deluxe rooms follow a similar theme in private bungalows accommodation overlooking the swimming pool.
restaurantGreenhouse coffee shop and bar is the setting for buffet breakfast (or American breakfast served at table when the hotel is running on low occupancy), lunch and dinner. A casual and airy, simply decorated general purpose eatery with views out to the gardens.
exteriorIt is low rise building of whitewashed brick and teakwood mimicking Burmese palatial architecture. There are some separate bungalows containing the deluxe rooms, similarly in keeping with the surroundings.
lobbyIt is medium sized, fitted out with local decoration. Ample for one average group check-in. More space and seating to be found in the conservatory.
generalThere are outdoor swimming pool, poolside bar, souvenir shops, karaoke bar, pool table, car and chauffeur rental, fax, long-distance calls, satellite TV, 24 hours hot and cold water. Also the possibility of dining outdoors in the hotel garden. Fitness centre with up to date equipment. Conference room and function room for up to 50 pax. Room service and laundry service.
The hotel is a golf resort which sports an 18 holes international golf course, so golfers are well served and can spend a couple of days combined sightseeing and relaxation with a few rounds of their favourite pastime. (03/01)
