The beautifully restored Cape Dutch homestead at Grande Roche dates back to the 18th century and promises guests a relaxing stay. Guests can use the Health Centre for treatments, a work out, it has an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room. There are also two outdoor tennis courts, plenty of free parking and another outdoor pool next to the excellent Bistro. One of the winelands most celebrated 5* hotels and small enough to make guests feel like they are alone.

An informal lobby which also forms part of Bosman's fine dining restaurant. There is sofa seating for guests to relax in and art on display throughout the hotel entrance.

Cape Dutch in style with the classic thatched roof and white washed walls this is a beautiful 18th century building set amongst vineyards.

Grande Roche has two restaurants; the Bosman's is in the old manor house and is fine dining at its best with a stunning menu and an excellent wine list. Bistro Allegro is the more relaxed dining experience where guests can eat in the bistro itself or by the pool on the terrace. The food at the hotel is first class and and the views from the main terrace of the old manor are stunning.

The standard rooms at Grande Roche are far from standard offering guests air con, under-floor heating, internet access, satellite television, safe, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and umbrellas. The rooms are beautifully decorated with soft colours and have good size comfortable beds.

Grande Roche is situated in the Drakenstein valley of Paarl, in the heart of the Western Cape's breathtaking winelands. The hotel is surrounded by vineyards and is a 40 minute drive from Cape Town international airport and just over an hour from the city centre.
