This spendid property is one of the finest deluxe city hotels in the whole of the Nordic region. Highly recommended! CW02/09

The lobby is medium in size, with adjoining seating areas. The furnishings are antique and the decor reflects an old deluxe hotel.
exterior
It is a purpose-built hotel with a mixture of architectural styles.
restaurant
The hotel has several restaurants; Annen Etage is a luxurious restaurant serving French cuisine, Theatercafeen is a popular dining and meeting place, representing Norwegian cultural history, Daglistinen is a combination of both pub and restaurant and is frequented by locals. There is also a breakfast restaurant that has a cosy atmosphere.
rooms
The rooms vary in size, but are all of a very high standard, combining antique furniture and opulent luxury with modern facilities. They are decorated in pastel shades. In one of Norway's top hotels it goes without saying that both the rooms and the bathrooms are in absolutely exceptional condition.
location
The hotel is in the centre of Oslo, overlooking the palace and the famous Karl Johansgate. It is within walking distance of the royal palace, City hall, the parliament, main shopping district, as well as cinemas, concert halls and theatres.
