The breathtaking lobby ascends 5 stories in height and is capped with lavish stained glass domes. Glistening chandeliers, an aviary, potted palm trees and a grand piano providing live music, add to the lavish ambiance here. An open-cage elevator operates to transport guests to the second floor shops and restaurants.

There are several fine restaurants offered at the Grand Floridian Resort. For casual dining, The Grand Floridian Cafe, a family restaurant, specializes in Southern cooking and has a lovely view of the pool and courtyard. Citrico's offers a sophisticated combination of American Seafood Mediterranean-Florida fare. The elegant Victoria and Albert is the signature award-winning restaurant offering fine dining. Afternoon tea is observed daily in the lovely Garden View Lounge.
