A spacious lobby with grey marble floors, large columns, and a long reception desk. The modern lobby has a "new age" theme with stone decor and up-to-date lighting.
exterior
This hotel has been converted from a traditional apartment building to a modern, up-to-date hotel. The traditional appearance has been maintained. There are two entrances: the main one is East 30th Street and the other is East 29th Street.
restaurant
Dining options here are Zana's, the hotel's acclaimed restaurant, featuring Chef Antonio and his unsurpassed Mediterranean cuisine There is a chic evening cocktail bar and lounge, and in-room dining is available.
rooms
Rooms are small to medium in size with beige/cream walls, dark contrasting carpeting, and earth tone furnishings. The rooms have elevated television sets which creates more space, and there are open closet areas. The bathrooms are also modern, and of medium size. They are white tiled with peppermint green ceramic floors, and have small shaving mirrors.
location
The hotel has a good location in the Midtown area, just off Madison Avenue & Park Avenue. Although central, it is situated in a quiet, residential area, but still with easy access to all the major tourist attractions - especially shopping!
