This is a good hotel particularly for those who prefer traditional hotels with character. ( 0609/ss )
lobby
The lobby is small and very ornate with pillars and arches and a painted ceiling. There is also an attractive, sweeping staircase with a lovely wrought-iron railing.
exterior
This is an attractive, period building painted in a pleasant pale pink with sculpted decorations over the windows, which are painted white. Entering this hotel is like stepping into another era. This hotel exudes old world charm.
restaurant
There is one restaurant, which is nicely decorated in salmon colour, serving high quality cuisine.
rooms
The seaview rooms have obviously a very attractive view, enabling guests to enjoy a view of the sea as well as Promenade des Anglais. They are generally medium to large in size and in very good condition. Some have been kept very much in the traditional style of the hotel, with period furniture and small chandeliers, whereas others are far more modern in style. Rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.
location
The hotel has a very good location, right on Promenade Des Anglais and very close to the shopping centre.
