locationThe hotel is centrally situated in the business district, overlooking the City Hall and the Federal Buildings. The hotel is 2 blocks from the Superdome sports Stadium, 3 blocks from the French Quarter, 4 blocks from Amtrak Station and 15 miles from New Orleans International Airport.
roomsThe rooms are large and designed in a traditional New Orleans fashion. The furnishings are all of high quality polished woods and the artwork is all local New Orleans. The colors used throughout are basically earth tones with either deep blue or burgundy carpeting. The bathrooms are nicely tiled and are medium in size. All well appointed.
generalThe hotel's true southern hospitality will make you feel right at home whilst remaining close to all the action. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are always available to make your stay a memorable one. The hotel's location is ideal for both business and leisure clients.
lobbyThe lobby is medium in size and has a nice seating area just inside the entrance. The lounge and restaurant is off to the left as you enter the lobby. One can view lots of local artwork throughout the hotel.
exteriorThe building is an 18-storey modern building with a magnificent 150-foot clarinet mural painted down one side of the building. The drive up area is covered and within this area there are additional painted murals of local New Orleans scenes.
restaurantThe restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a true New Orleans' atmosphere. The restaurants buffets are served in an area that replicates an original New Orleans streetcar. The a la carte menu features the best in American-Creole cuisine.
