The Casa Munras Resort is a charming property in a prime location. It makes for a great base for exploring the Monterey peninsula and the surrounding california coastline. Hotel was renovated in 1996. Taken from brochure and ohg 3/6/99

The lobby is medium size.
exterior
The hotel is located on 4.5 acres, consisting of eleven buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Parts of the hotel date from 1824, when it was the hacienda of the last Spanish diplomat to california.

There is a restaurant on site serving breakfast and dinner.

Rooms are medium in size, uniquely colorful, and tastefully decorated, many with fireplaces.

The Casa Munras Resort is located in the heart of old Monterey near fisherman's wharf, within walking distance to all of Monterey's most visited attractions.
