Independent Report
generalIts excellent location can be somewhat noisy after sundown as, like any
harbourin the world, Marseille's stays awake throughout the night! the back
view rooms will prove to have a definite advantage over the port view ones on
this score. The coach or car access can at times be problematic and there are
no private Parking facilities at this hotel.
lobbyThe pullman has a good-sized, traditional lobby with a door on the right hand
side which leads into a very atmospheric, British-style bar.
exteriorIt is a very charming, traditional building.
restaurantThere is no restaurant but you will find an elegant, cosy breakfast room on the
first floor.
roomsAll the bedrooms are individually decorated in the most refreshing provencal
style. Some of the furnishings and appliances include interesting pieces of
southern France antiques. The rooms vary greatly in shape and size from very
small to medium but facilities are standard as are the creaking floorboards!
locationFantastic location, facing the harbour. Its entrance is at the back via a
small, cul-de-sac street.
