generalFor many years hotel Sovietsly was the official hotel for the Soviet government and therefore it is well known among foreign dignitaries. Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandi, king of Spain Huan Carlos have all stayed here. If you are looking for modern hotel with all modern amenities this hotel may not be for you, however if you are looking to taste the essence of a bygone era this hotel is perfect.Due to its close proximity to the centre the hotel makes a good base for exploring the city. exteriorThe exterior has been constructed in Russian Empire decor style and makes an elegant architectural entity .
restaurantRussia's most famous restaurant "Yar" is located in the hotel, it is worldwide famous in cultural, and diplomaticv circles. It serves russian and european cuisine and has traditional shows in the evening.IT has three spacious halls decorated in grandeur style, it looks like a theatre inside.
