The Cullen Arts hotel is the first of it's kind in Melbourne and is located opposite the Prahan markets in the heart of commercial road with the shopping, bars and restaurants at your door. Tram stops right at the front and it is within walking distance to popular Chapel street and Greville street. Melbourne city centre is 5 km and Tullamarine airport is approximately 30 minutes drive. The Cullen is named after Adam Cullen. Often described in his early days as the "enfant terrible" of the art world, Adam Cullen has made a name for himself as one of Australia's most exciting contemporary artists.

The Open plan Deluxe Studio Suites are large in size and have either a king bed or a Queen bed. The rooms are well appointed with designer furnishing and offer a living and working space with kitchenette facilities. Kitchenette include fridge, stove top and oven. There are two restaurants at the hotel. The 140 seating Hutong Dumpling Bar has an Oriental flavour. This is the sister restaurant to the already thriving city based HuTong Dumpling Bar in Market Lane. The Terrace has a stylish contemporary design and has 75 Outdoor seating and 65 indoor seating. It has a Euro flavour with an Italian influence featuring tapas style entrees encouraging share plates, pizza & pasta and creates a warm and inviting feel.
