The lobby is medium in size and functional. It leads off into the historic parts of the hotel, which have been maintained in the style of the period the building was originally built.
exterior
This is a historic building, dating back to 1913 with the original facade maintained.
restaurant
The restaurant offers a mix blend of Australian and Asian cuisine. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's modern style contrasts with the historic nature of the property. There is a very tasteful 'old world' Bar on the first floor perfect for that glass of champagne or drink after work.
rooms
Rooms and bathrooms are of medium size and in excellent condition. They have a contemporary decor. All have TV, tea/coffee maker, safe and mini bar.
location
This heritage listed hotel is located in the heart of the business district opposite Flinders Street Station. Crown Casino, Southbank, Collins Street and Bourke Street Mall are all about 5-10 minutes walk. The hotel was originally built as a Commercial Travelers Club in 1913.
