This hotel is located in the heart of the business district opposite Flinders Street Station. Crown Casino and Southbank are about 10 minutes walk. Collins Street and Bourke Street Mall are about 5~10 minutes on foot.

The lobby is medium in size and functional. It leads off into the historic parts of the hotel, which have been maintained in the style of the period the building was originally built.
exterior
This is a historic building, dating back to 1913 with the original facade maintained.
restaurant
There is a restaurant located in the basement. It's modern style contrasts with the historic nature of the property. There is a very tasteful 'old world' Bar on the first floor.
rooms
Rooms and bathrooms are small and in good condition - they are rated three and a half star. They have a pleasant decor with considerable use of dark wood. All have satellite TV, tea /coffee maker, safe and mini bar. Rooms and bathrooms are in an excellent condiiton.
