Lizard Island is one of a kind. A beautiful island, with only 80 guests at one time - with much to do, or just laze around in the sun. Many complimentary sports & walks. Scuba diving, snorkelling, Great Barrier Reef trips at an additional charge. Children 12 years and under are not catered for on Lizard Island. SS1108

The restaurant offers an open terrace and overlooks the beach and the ocean. It is an intimate setting for a la carte meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Modern Australian cuisine with menu changing daily. Gourmet picnic hampers are available upon request.

Rooms are of medium size and located in native gardens, with private balcony and views across Anchor Bay and the beach. They are in an excellent condition. Rates include meals, use of non motorised watersports and dinghy hire.
location
Located on the Great Barrier Reef, the Island is 240km North of Cairns and 27km off the coast of Queensland. The Island is a National Park covering 1,013ha with 24 magnificent sandy beaches and a lagoon. There are flights from Cairns to Lizard Island (at additional cost) and many scheduled flights from Australian capital cities flying into Cairns.
