generalThe hotel has been a Guest house for the past year and is due to gain it's 2* grade in September 2005. The reception is opened between 8.00-13.00 and 15.00-19.00, for arrivals outside these times it is strongly advisable to inform hotel beforehand. A car park at special rates for San Frediano guests is available outside Lucca city walls, few minutes walk for the hotel. MS 03/06
lobbyThe building the accommodates San Frediano was a 1600 house. The internal division of spaces has been maintained as per it's original architecture and therefore the hotel does not have a lobby in the traditional sense. Guests are welcomed directly into the reception office on the ground floor: a spacious room, traditionally decorated with an informal atmosphere that reflects the friendly approach that is typical of this hotel.
exteriorHistorical building dated 1600, built in the traditional style and materials of the time. The entrance to the hotel is a rather unassuming yet solid and imposing wooden door.
restaurantNo restaurant. The continental breakfast is served directly in the room, for specific requirements it is necessary to advise hotel beforehand.
roomsThe 6 rooms are spacious, simply but tastefully decorated, with cast iron beds and colourful drapery. Bathrooms vary in size and are modern and functional in style. Although simple, all bathrooms have been recently renovated with high standard finishing.
locationIn the heart of the historical centre of Lucca, San Frediano was originally an English style guest house, now 2* hotel full of character and ideal for the individual traveller.
