This is a very impressive property for its class, benefiting from an interesting location and very pleasant public areas. (0109AB)
lobby
The lobby is a definite feature of the hotel being large and beautifully decorated with cream marble throughout. it is open plan with plenty of seating and an attractive central staircase leading to other public areas.
exterior
The exterior of the hotel is very modern, in dark stone. it dominates its area.
restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants, a traditional carvery on the first floor decorated in warm English style, and a more modern, lighter bistro style restaurant on the ground floor with full length windows overlooking the Thames.
rooms
The standard rooms are medium sized and decorated in mainly neutral colours. Most have lovely views over Tower Bridge and the Thames or St Katherines dock. They are in good condition as are the bathrooms.
location
The hotel is situated next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London and overlooks St Katherines Dock and the River Thames. Tower Hill Underground Station (Circle and District Lines) is just five minutes walk away.
